Our Story
At Resilient Roots School, we are passionate about transforming the lives of children and their families. Though we are a school, our aim is to not just support each individual's educational trajectory, but ensuring all areas of life are cohesive and collaborative. As parents of neurodiverse children and working with this population for a combined 20 years, we know the detriments of siloing success to just one setting. Beyond academics, we are committed to fostering holistic growth in every aspect of our students' lives. We believe in creating an environment where each child feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. Our approach emphasizes not just education, but also wrap-around family support that extends through every step of the journey. At Resilient Roots School, we're not just educators; we're advocates, champions, and believers in the power of resilience and the transformative impact of unwavering support.
Our History
After 13 years serving at a wonderful special needs school in Roswell, GA, we are bringing our passion and desire to support children with varying educational needs to Ericeira, Portugal. At our school, we believe in fostering a supportive environment that embraces each child's unique journey of growth and development.
Our Methodology
Looking beyond academics, we incorporate socio-emotional tools and skills, multi-sensory stimulation and activation, and tailored support for each individual.
